CA Rohit Prasad is a practicing Chartered Accountant with a strong reputation in the field of Goods and Service Tax (GST), and a Co-opted member of GST & Indirect Taxes Committee of Eastern India Regional Council of ICAI for the year 2024-25. He is renowned for his in-depth knowledge of GST –Compliance and Litigation matters. Rohit has shared his expertise at various seminars, conferences, and workshops, focusing on GST across India.

He successfully represents clients across India in a wide range of GST Litigation matters. He holds the prestigious title of Certified Forensic Auditor by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also possesses a B.Com (Honours) degree from Calcutta University, which showcase his academic excellence.

Currently, He is a Partner at K. R. Sriram & Co., a Chartered Accountant firm with offices in Kolkata, Durgapur, and Bengaluru.

He started his career as a Senior Audit Executive at EY, a leading global consulting firm, solidifying his foundation in the field of Audit and Assurance.

He has extensive experience catering to the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Manufacturing, and Services sectors, making him a well-rounded professional. He regularly shares his knowledge by contributing articles to publications like the ICAI Branch Magazine, ICAI Newsletters, and ACAE Magazine.

He is actively involved in the industry, holding the position of GST Committee Member for the Association of Corporate Advisers and Executives.
